In Zaragoza, our Co-Managing Director Sarah Gilani, together with Heinz Gattringer, Senior Developer Engineer, and Gaetano Bertino, Project Manager & Circular Building Specialist, participated in the General Assembly of the ATRIUM Project.
ATRIUM project uses bio-based materials and composites for a sustainable building industry bringing together partners working to develop and demonstrate innovative solutions for the future of sustainable construction.
At alchemia-nova, Sarah Gilani is leading the work on business models for ATRIUM’s innovative solutions, while also supporting the translation of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Social Life Cycle Assessment (S-LCA) results into co-creation canvases developed together with project partners.
During the meeting, Heinz Gattringer presented the ongoing work in WP3, including progress toward the upcoming demo site.
Gaetano Bertino also facilitated a workshop focused on 𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 needed for demonstrating ATRIUM technologies across the project’s demo sites. The session helped map existing knowledge, identify gaps, and collect inputs from technology providers and demo-site owners to support the development of site-specific regulatory checklists and next steps.
A productive meeting and an important step toward enabling the real-world deployment of ATRIUM solutions.
