While in Porto, we also visited the ๐๐๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ข๐ฑ๐จ, where INSPIREโs latest ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐๐ฆ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ข๐ฅ๐ญ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐งย unit has been installed in the Douro River. This compact technology helps remove microplastics from marinas and shipyardsโ wastewater before they reach the river and is capable of filtering 200 liters per hour. ๐งโ๏ธ
On the final day, we joined the โ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ ๐๐ซ๐ข๐๐ ๐๐ฌ – ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐จ & ๐๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ฉ๐๐ง ๐๐๐ญ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐๐โ swimming event, proudly sponsored by Inspire Europe. ๐โโ๏ธ This inspiring community event brought together swimmers of all ages and backgrounds, who swam ๐ ๐ค๐ฆ ๐๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซโa true testament to dedication and perseverance. The event also highlighted the importance of maintaining a ๐ก๐๐๐ฅ๐ญ๐ก๐ฒ ๐ซ๐ข๐ฏ๐๐ซ ๐๐๐จ๐ฌ๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ฆ so that both humans and marine life can continue to thrive. ๐๐ We were especially proud that the ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐ฌ๐ฐ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฆ๐๐ซ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ง ๐๐ข๐ซ๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐๐๐ in his category! ๐
