Nils Klose

Technical Assistant

Nils is a Technical Assistant at alchemia-nova, contributing to the implementation and coordination of EU-funded projects in the fields of circular economy and bioeconomy. His current work includes assessing the social acceptance of bio-based fertilizers, preparing the coordination of a bioreactor demonstration site in Vienna, and co-developing circular business models for the construction industry. He is also involved in analyzing industrial symbiosis approaches and supporting project management across multiple initiatives. After completing an apprenticeship as an industrial management assistant and earning a B.A. in Business Administration, he worked in digital project management at a German publishing house. Motivated by a strong interest in sustainability and systemic transformation, he moved to Vienna to pursue a career shift into the bioeconomy sector. He is currently enrolled in the MSc programme Sustainable Business Management at the University of Applied Sciences BFI Vienna. In addition, he works at an organic gourmet mushroom farm, deepening his practical experience in regenerative food systems. His key interests include circular transformation, sustainable business strategies, and bridging economic thinking with ecological innovation.
