With over seven years of experience with impact-driven organizations in Austria and Pakistan, Sarah Gilani joined alchemia-nova as a Project Management and Communications Specialist in September 2022. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Socio-Ecological Economics & Policy from Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien. She has extensive experience in developing and executing government-backed development projects in the technology space in Pakistan. Sarah’s journey in the tech startup ecosystem began at Plan9 – PITB’s Tech Incubator in 2012, where she played a pivotal role in nurturing startups and devising innovative incubation models. Her tenure at TechHub Connect saw her initiating networking events and contributing to policy formulation. At New Austrian Coding School, she facilitated industry linkages and devised in-house trainings for participants. During her time at KluturenReich, Sarah also assisted foreign-born women in integrating through training and networking events in Austria. Her passion for sustainable and, more importantly, inclusive growth led her to study socio-ecological economics. Now, she applies her expertise to drive more inclusive growth through the many EU projects she is involved with at alchemia-nova.
