Eriona Canga
Eriona Canga is an Environmental Scientist at alchemia-nova. She holds a Ph.D. from Aarhus University, Denmark (2014), along with B.Sc.’s and M.Sc.’s degrees in Environmental Sciences and Technologies from Padua University, Italy. Her research since 2009 focuses on municipal wastewater treatment using constructed wetlands (MSc thesis at BOKU) and agricultural drainage water treatment (PhD), resulting in numerous publications, conferences participation and academic lectures. Following her doctoral studies, she embarked on a three-year post-doctoral research journey, contributing her expertise at Aarhus University in Denmark and CNR in Italy. Her academic journey continued as she spent three years as a Lecturer at Polis University, Albania (2018-2021). In addition to lecturing, Eriona played a key role in managing the accreditation process of the Environmental Laboratory according to ISO17025 standards, organized workshops and open lectures, managed projects, supervised master’s students. Eriona’s professional interests are deeply rooted in circular cities and nature-based solutions, with a keen focus on water resource management, reflecting her unwavering commitment to sustainable environmental practices and innovative solutions.
