Maria Wirth
Chief Executive Officer, Board Member
Maria Wirth is the CEO of alchemia-nova, leading an interdisciplinary team of 20 researchers and consultants. She brings an academic and professional background in environmental technologies and sustainable development cooperation, as well as experience from her previous roles at GIZ GmbH and the United Nations (UNIDO). Her expertise spans project development and implementation in areas such as urban water management, climate change adaptation, circular economy, and bio-based value chains. Throughout her projects, she works closely with international partners in driving research initiatives and collaborative projects that accelerate the transition towards more sustainable systems.
